On-Site Situational Analysis
Our Work Comp Consultant will conduct an on-site analysis and needs assessment of your current workers’ compensation program. This includes reviewing:
          • Injury reports
          • Lost time records
          • Experience modification
          • Injured workers
          • Return to work procedures
          • OSHA logs
          • Overview of your current insurance program
This visit will be followed by a written proposal outlining ways in which we can provide direction and assistance in the lowering of your average claim cost.

Transitional Work Program Development

The success of lowering the average cost per claim is dependent on the injured worker’s lost time. By developing a transitional work program, you are essentially offering the employee an immediate return to work to a job that meets the restrictions as directed by the physician. This offer must be legitimate and the work assigned must include meaningful tasks, duties and responsibilities.
This program enhances the injured worker’s recovery period and allows the employer to monitor the employee’s progress. This concept has proven to be successful in decreasing the average cost per claim. We can help develop your program and provide the guidelines for implementation.

Case Management Study and Support
A Dolphin Staffing HR consultant will provide training for the appropriate staff responsible for workers’ compensation programs in your organization. This training includes an overview of the Minnesota workers’ compensation statutes, an introduction to case management, a review of documents used throughout the entire process and making the transitional work program a success in your company.
Additional training can be provided to all employees regarding workers’ compensation and the injury reporting procedures. Some employees believe that if they are injured on the job, they are able to stay home and be paid for their time off. Training of all employees –– whether as part of the initial employee orientation program or group meetings –– may result in fewer injuries and lower claim costs.
